Cranberry Roast


A tasty New Years Eve pork roast!  

1 ~ 3 pound rolled pork loin
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1,2 cup cranberry juice
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Place all ingredients in crockpot and cook for six-eight hours.  When roast is done, remove from the crockpot.  Skim the fat off from the juice that is remaining in the crockpot.  Measure 2 cups of the meat juice, adding water if you need to and pour into a saucepan.  Bring to a boil over medium high heat.  Combine 2 Tbsp. cornstarch and 2 cups cold water to make a past then add that paste to the meat juices .  Cook and stir to make a gravy.  Pour the gravy over the slices of roast as served.
